In a statement from Rachelle’s reps to Entertainment Weekly, she said, “I was fully committed to the Twilight saga and to the portrayal of Victoria. I turned down several other film opportunities and, in accordance with my contractual rights, accepted only roles that would involve very short shooting schedules.”
Rachelle was reportedly replaced due to a scheduling conflict when she signed on to the movie Barney’s Version. However, Rachelle claimed that it would only prevent her from filming for 10 days. She added, “Given the length of filming for Eclipse, never did I fathom I would lose the role over a 10-day overlap.”
Bryce said she and Rachelle messaged each other and went out for lunch and there are no hard feelings between them.
